October 15, 2023 | Sunday - Inspired by the saying “When you share, you were blessed,” the Holy Cross College of Carigara Incorporated (HCCCI) headed to Canlampay Elementary School (CES) and held an outreach program through the conduct of giving packed lunch foods and different activities to the children.

Before the program commenced, HCCCI's teacher Ms. Sheryl Ordoña spearheaded a heartwarming opening prayer. It was a moment of connection where one's faith are in a higher power and sought guidance for the activities about to kick-off. As the prayer ended, the energy at CES shifted since the Holy Crossians (student or a teacher of HCCCI) are known for their aspiration and fond for fitness, and graced the stage.

Furthermore, the engaging beats of the music begun, captivating the attention of everyone who are present, especially the CES pupils who enjoyed the zumba presentation. The games in which every pupils love and the pupils who were the participants of the said activity actively engaged, especially in answering the set of questions being asked to them wherein they received a prize for every correct answer, which made them ecstatic and really enjoyed the activity, leaving them smiles on their faces.

The involvement during the outreach program at Canlampay Elementary School, were all worth the delight and fulfillment. Not only did they touched other's life, but the realization about life’s lessons about caring, sharing, compassion, reaching out and trusting the Lord’s provision were among those felt during the journey.

This unwavering activity of HCCCI has proven to be a meritorious initiative because they did not only empowered the CES pupils, but they strongly embedded a cultivating spirit of unity, community support and growth. Thus, the outreach program ended being a success with the help of all the compassionate individuals who took part of it.
